The visual plans of the renovated stations of the M3 metro line have been published, which include elevators, renovated escalators, and spectacular canopies. The technical handover of the stations will already take place this month, and will be opened to the public in May.

Gergely Karácsony also announced the news on his Facebook page: “The Kálvin tér, the Corvin negyed, and the Semmelweis Klinikák stations will be completed soon,” wrote the mayor of Budapest, adding that passengers will be able to use the central section of the M3 metro line again from May.
The investor BKV Zrt. published the visual plans of Kálvin tér, Corvin negyed, and Semmelweis Klinikák on the official project page for the M3 Metro renovation. The technical handover of the stations will already take place this month, and will be opened to the public in May.
The planned visual designs of Lehel tér, Nyugati pályaudvar, Arany János utca, Deák Ferenc tér, Ferenciek tere, and Nagyvárad tér metro stations, which are still in progress, will also be presented soon.
The stations of the central section of the M3 will be built by SWIETELSKY Építő Kft. while the track construction works will be carried out by Swietelsky Vasúttechnika Kft.
