Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko has congratulated Viktor Orbán on his success in the April 3 parliamentary elections.

“Re-election is an important sign of the people’s support and confidence in the dedication to protect the national interests regardless of the strength of external pressure on your country. We are glad that we will be able to continue working together for the good of our countries even under the current difficult conditions and to multiply the positive examples of cooperation that have been achieved over 30 years of diplomatic relations,” the head of state said.
The authoritarian leader wished the newly elected Prime Minister health and success and the Hungarian people’s prosperity and well-being.
Numerous heads of state and government and party leaders from around the world have congratulated Viktor Orbán on the start of his fifth term, including Russian President Vladimir Putin.
