Several Ukrainian refugees had to be taken to the hospital from a hotel in Budapest, Pál Győrfi, spokesman for the National Ambulance Service, told MTI on Tuesday.
According to MTI, a large number of Ukrainian refugees were suffering from diarrheal issues at the Mercure Budapest Castle Hill in the 1st district, where they were staying. For this reason, the ambulance service arrived on the scene with several vehicles.
According to Pál Győrfi, the ambulances transported two women, a seventeen-year-old boy, and a seven-year-old boy to the hospital complaining of nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea. It is not yet known what caused the symptoms.
It was previously announced that the Hungarian government is providing medical and hospital care for Ukrainian refugees arriving in the country.
