Passenger numbers at Liszt Ferenc International reached 620,199 in February, an increase of more than 1,000 percent from the same month a year earlier, the facility’s operator Budapest Airport said on Wednesday.
Recovering passenger numbers were 64 percent of the pre-pandemic level of 2019, it added.
Cargo volume at the airport hit 15,578 tonnes in February, up 29 percent from a year earlier.
