Due to renovation works after an accident on the M3 metro line, replacement buses will run between Határ út and Kőbánya-Kispest (end station) on weekdays throughout the week, the Budapest Transport Center (BKK) announced.
On Friday night, on the Kőbánya-Kispest “pull-out” section of line 3, two metro trains collided in an area not used by passengers, and a third train became stuck there as well.
According to BKK’s website, from January 24th until the end of the restoration works, the M3 metro line is accessible as follows on weekdays:
The transport company is currently investigating the circumstances of the incident.
