The death of Zoltán Vida has shaken the sport of Hungarian bodybuilding, and several of his fellow athletes have paid their last respects to him.
He is not the first top athlete in Hungary to contract a severe COVID infection. As we reported earlier, gymnast Szilveszter Csollány is in critical condition. He was hospitalized on December 3 after contracting the coronavirus. According to reports, the 51-year-old gymnastics legend is being kept alive by an artificial lung.
