Tickets for next year’s Hungarian Formula 1 race will be the cheapest, reports hvg.hu. Currently, at the other end of the list is the race in Mexico. The top list below shows the average price of tickets for Formula 1 race weekends in the 2024 season.
Tickets for next year’s race in Mogyoród near Budapest (19-21 July) is by far the cheapest, at EUR 188, followed by EUR 239 for the race in Japan, and EUR 240 for the race in Bahrain.
At the other end of the scale is the Mexican race at the end of October, costing an average of EUR 711, but the Monaco race is not cheap either, with tickets for EUR 694, and tickets for the British weekend are selling for EUR 626.
Prices for Abu Dhabi, the U.S., Azerbaijan, Qatar, and China are not yet published, thus the top list is not yet complete and it is almost certain that just like this year,
the U.S. races will be the most expensive, even if there are promises of some price reductions.
With the exception of Bahrain, Imola, and Saudi Arabia, ticket prices have risen everywhere, with the biggest increase of 23.9 percent in the UK.
Tickets for the Hungaroring next year will cost on average 12.5 percent more than in 2023.
Preliminary figures for next year, taking into account average earnings in the respective countries, are not yet available, but in this respect the Hungarian race in 2023 was in the middle of the field.
This year, Singapore topped the list, where locals could get a grandstand ticket for six percent of the average net monthly salary. In Hungary, it was 16 percent, while in Azerbaijan it was 67 percent.
