Well-known presenters from the commercial broadcaster RTL Klub, István Szellő and Antónia Erős, sent a message to the second-largest Hungarian TV commercial channel TV2 at the end of Monday’s news program after the well-known faces of the competing channel openly announced that they will vote for Viktor Orbán on April 3.

“I am a journalist, not a propagandist,” reacted István Szellő at the end of RTL Klub‘s news program on Monday evening to the news that TV2‘s most popular and well-known faces, including the news editor-in-chief, had revealed why they will support Viktor Orbán in the elections. (TV2 is owned by Fidesz circles).
RTL Klub has also launched a campaign in the run-up to the election campaign, but it merely draws attention to the importance of voting. They do not reveal who they are voting for.
In the video, the RTL news anchor, István Szellő, says that he thinks it is very important to participate in the parliamentary elections, which he did not have the opportunity to do when he was young. Especially because of this, he believes that everyone should take advantage of this opportunity.
Parliamentary elections will be held in Hungary on April 3.
