Wow! Really? – A Member Of Monthy Python Group “Got Lost” In Hungary?

The member of the famous comedy group Monthy Python, made travel documentaries within he didn’t forget to visit Hungary.

Michael Edward Palin is an English comedian, actor, writer and television presenter. He was one of the members of famous the comedy group Monthy Python and later made a number of travel documentaries

He wrote most of his comedic material with fellow Python member Terry Jones. Palin was wotking with Terry Jones after Python. Ha was awarded by the BAFTA Award for Best Actor in Supporting Role. In a 2005 poll to find The Comedians’ Comedian, he was voted the 30th favorite by fellow comedians and comedy insiders.


After Python, he began a new career as a travel writer and travel documentarian. His journeys have taken him across the world, including the North and South Poles, the Sahara Desert, the Himalayas, Eastern Europe Brazil…and wait for….yes including the “heart of Europe”, Hungary.

Anyway, it was almost 10 years ago Michael Palin crossed a bridge over the Danube that now forms the international border for Hungary to learn more about the once expansive and now diminished Hungarian empire.
