Hungarian low-fare airline Wizz Air has launched a new service between Budapest and EuroAirport Basel-Mulhouse-Freiburg on Friday.
The new flight will operate five times a week, on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays. EuroAirport is little more than 3 kilometers from Basel, Switzerland, 20 kilometers from the French Mulhouse and 46 from Freiburg, Germany.
Passenger numbers on Wizz Air Hungary’s flights have risen by 18 percent, to 4.4 million, in the past year. Capacity on the flights is set to reach 5.7 million seats with the addition of a thirteenth aircraft to the local fleet in the future.
