Watch Ellie Goulding’s New Music Video Shot Entirely in Budapest
On Wednesday, world-famous British singer Ellie Goulding released the music video for her song “Close to me,” featuring iconic and scenic locations in Budapest.
The music video was made for her Diplo-produced single “Close to Me” featuring Rae Sremmurd’s Swae Lee in cooperation with the Hungarian Tourism Agency as part of the ‘Spice of Europe’ campaign with the aim to draw the attention of the younger generations as well, who are more difficult to reach with traditional marketing techniques.
The music video — which has been viewed more than a million times since Wednesday — really looks like a tourism ad with its many beautiful drone shots of locations around the capital including the Fisherman’s Bastion, the Várkert Bazaar and the Buda Castle.
Admiral Film, the Hungarian production company behind the video, also produced the official video of the 2018 Football World Cup with Will Smith in Budapest.
