Visitors from a number of countries, including Hungary, will not need to be isolated on entering the United Kingdom, starting next Friday, the British transport ministry announced.
Hungary, the Czech Republic, Poland, Germany, France, Spain, and Italy are included in the list of several dozen countries, but citizens of Portugal, Sweden, the US, China, Bulgaria and Romania continue to be required to stay in a 14-day quarantine.

Since the 18th of June, UK nationals, including those holding a Hungarian Permanent Residence Card or a Registration Certificate and Address Card, who wish to enter Hungary for what the Hungarian authorities are calling exceptional reasons must submit an application for exemption on the official website of the Hungarian Police in Hungarian language.
At the same time, Hungarian citizens who arrive to Hungary from the United Kingdom can enter the country without restrictions and no longer have to comply with the mandatory home quarantine in Hungary.
