Man Sells 40 Fake Tickets for EURO 2020

Zoltán M., a 28 year-old man from Budapest, was caught selling fake tickets for UEFA Euro football matches on Monday according to police.hu.

At least four people paid between HUF 24,000-96,000 (EUR 69-274) for tickets, but the number of victims can be as many as 40. It is presumed that more than 30 people paid for but did not receive any kind of ticket.

The suspect was interrogated on June 14th at the Zugló Police Station where he admitted to committing the crimes. The police are investigating whether he has cause financial damage to others, too.
