The publisher of Vice, the print magazine and website focused on arts, culture, and news topics headquartered in New York city, is considering launching editions in several Central and Eastern European countries, including Hungary, according to press reports.
According to The Guardian, Vice Media, in cooperation with the Greek Antenna Group, is planning to expand in Russia, the Czech Republic, Hungary, Bulgaria, Slovenia, Slovakia and Croatia.
Originally a youth-oriented magazine, Vice is increasingly regarded as a leading international political news outlet thanks to its in-depth reports and conflict coverage.
Nevertheless, Vice seeks to serve a younger readership with its Central and Eastern European editions, first in digital and later in televised form, according to the British newspaper’s information.
