Hungarian Tennis player Tímea Babos alongside Kristina Mladenovic qualified to the quarter-finals at Wimbledon Ladies’ Double. The Hungaro-French duo played an impressive game and have won the first set within 24 minutes. The next set saw setbacks as Babos and Mladenovic faced sterner opposition, but with a great comeback managed to secure qualification within a swift 61 minutes.
The quarter-finals, however, may prove to be more of a difficult match-up as Babos and Mladenovic could either face first-seeded Taiwanese-Chinese duo of Hsieh Su-wei and Peng Shuai or the Ukrainian-Polish pair of Julija Bejgelzimer and Klaudia Jans-Ignacik. The Hungarian tennis player will also feature in a mixed double match alongside Eric Butorac (USA), with fourth-seeded Leander Peas and Cara Black as opponents.
Round of 16 results: Tímea Babos, Kristina Mladenovic – Belinda Bencic, Cvetana Pironkova, 6:1, 6:3
