Talks About Regular Direct Flights Between Hungary And Tunisia

Robert Velkey 2017.03.28.

State secretary Levente Magyar on Monday announced plans to launch regular direct flights between Hungary and Tunisia.

Following talks in Tunis he told MTI by phone that regular direct flights will be required because Hungarian tourists now fill weekly five charter flights to Tunisia, up from the earlier weekly two. The security situation justifies the increased demand, with the authorities in Tunisia keeping things under control and no terrorist attacks committed against tourists in the past one year, he added.

An official Tunisian delegation will travel to Budapest next week to finalise the agreement on the regular fright. Tunisair is expected to operate the service from next year, he added.
