Masses of ethnic Hungarians in Vojvodina want the Chinese coronavirus vaccine, Tamás Menczer, the state secretary for communication and the international representation of Hungary, said after talks with the head of the Alliance of Vojvodina Hungarians (VMSZ).
Menczer said he had held a video conference with István Pásztor, who said he had been inoculated with the Chinese vaccine and “experienced nothing adverse”.
The VMSZ leader said he had chosen the Chinese vaccine because he was convinced that it had been licenced by the authorities after careful consideration, Menczer said. Some 350,000 people have already received the Chinese vaccine in Serbia, Pásztor said, adding that he had not heard of any negative experiences that could “raise suspicion” concerning the Chinese vaccine, Menczer added.
