South Korea PM Thanks Hungary’s Efforts over Danube Ship Collision

South Korean Prime Minister Lee Nak-yeon has sent a letter to Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán to thank his condolences sent over the Danube ship collision and thank the Hungarian government for its support, Orbán’s press chief said on Tuesday.
Sightseeing boat Hableány sank after a Swiss-owned cruise ship collided into it on May 29 as both vessels passed under Margit Bridge in central Budapest. It had a group of 33 South Korean tourists and a crew of two Hungarians aboard. The wreck of Hableány was lifted from the Danube earlier on Tuesday.
The tragic accident has deeply saddened the Korean people, Lee Nak-yeon said, expressing thanks to the Hungarian government for its active support and cooperation.
