Saturday Night Live star, Kate McKinnon spent several months in Hungary while shooting her new movie The Spy Who Dumped Me. In last night’s appearance on the Tonight Show, she told Jimmy Fallon about her harrowing attempt to study Hungarian – which she described as the second hardest language to learn in the world. After a few months of practice, she realized she still couldn’t quite order a meal at a restaurant.
Despite her struggle, Kate was taught by her driver Erik to sing a famous rap song from the 90’s called Yozsefváros. During the era, the district in Budapest was famous for its high crime rates, providing plenty of inspiration for wannabe Hungarian gangster rappers.
The actress may or may not know the full meaning of the Animal Cannibals song, but she definitely put it back on everyone’s radar with her performance.
