Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán will pay an official visit to Romania’s Transylvanian region at the invitation of the ethnic Hungarian RMDSZ party, the prime minister’s press chief said on Monday.
On Wednesday, May 8, Orbán will meet RMDSZ leaders and heads of municipalities to discuss preparations for the European parliamentary elections, Bertalan Havasi said.

The prime minister will attend an informal meeting of the European Council in Sibiu (Nagyszeben), in central Romania, on May 9.
On May 10, Orbán will inaugurate a feed plant in Sanpaul (Kerelőszentpál) and visit the Szeklerland Ice Hockey Academy.
