Prime Minister Viktor Orbán has sent a letter to French President Emmanuel Macron thanking him for France’s help with the return of a group of Hungarians from Wuhan, the epicentre of the coronavirus outbreak, Orbán’s press chief said on Monday.
“Let me thank you for the excellent cooperation which was indispensable for the completion of the complex operation under extraordinary circumstances,” Bertalan Havasi cited Orbán as saying.

Seven Hungarians evacuated from Wuhan were among passengers taken by a French aircraft to an airbase in southern France over the weekend. They returned to Hungary on Sunday evening.
