New Hungarian police contingents have left for Serbia and Macedonia, the national police headquarters said on its website.
A total of 30 police have left for Macedonia and 15 to Serbia, police said in a statement.
They will be patrolling areas to prevent and reveal illegal border crossings and will be involved in apprehending human smugglers and illegal migrants. In addition, they will also carry out in-depth border control.
Both contingents have been equipped with SUVs, night-vision equipment and hand-held heat cameras. The contingent in Macedonia will also support border protection efforts with mobile heat cameras, the statement said.
