New Flights In The Air – The Wizz Air Going To Fly Between Budapest And The Porto

Robert Velkey 2016.06.17.

Starting with September 4, Wizz Air is launching two new flights per week between Budapest, Hungary and Porto, Portugal. Origo.hu reports the flights will operate on Wednesdays and Sundays.

The low-budget airline introduced direct flights between Lisbon and Budapest last March. Portugal soon became a favorite destination for business or recreational travels. Moreover, flights between the two capitals, operated by Portuguese airline TAP have been suspended in April, thus making Wizz Air the only airline with flights to Portugal.

The UNESCO World Heritage Site Porto is one of Europe’s oldest cities. It is famous for its architecture, romantic atmosphere and historical city center. The Portugal city became Wizz Air destination from Warsaw in May, and from September on, flights will be available as well. As it used to be at Wizz Air, tickets will be the cheapest on the day of the first launch, one-way tickets will be around 20.000 forints (about 60 euros).
