Krisztina Nagypál has been crowned as Miss World Hungary of  2019. She edged out 15 fellow competitors Sunday night. The first runner-up was Tímea Gaál, the second runner-up Rebeka Csonka. Rebeka has also been awarded the ’most beautiful smile’ title, while the audience award was given to Lilla Lakatos.

Krisztina Nagypál received millions of forints worth of prizes and more importantly, is given the opportunity to represent Hungary at Miss World, one of the world’s oldest running and most prestigious beauty pageants in Thailand, on December 7th.

In the finals, the competitors walked along the runway in four different outfits. In addition to the bikini competition, the contestants also wore national costumes and evening dresses. In the so-called creative tour, different clothes were designed for each girl. After each round, two girls receiving the least amount of points had to say goodbye to the contest.

The 20 initially  selected girls went to preparation camp in June, where they took part in home competitions for almost two weeks. However, in the finals, only sixteen of them had the chance to win the crown.
