Maronite Patriarch Bechara Boutros al-Rahi thanked Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán for the Hungarian government’s sympathy and its donation of 1 million euros to alleviate the impact of Tuesday’s blast in Beirut, the prime minister’s press office reported.

The donation, sent through the government’s Hungary Helps programme, was received by Lebanon’s Maronite Church on Thursday morning.
