Man Attacking Police Shot in Újpest

A police officer shot a man who had stabbed his patrol partner in northern Budapest’s 4th district (Újpest) on Thursday, police.hu reported.

The two officers had been called to a condominium with a noisy and aggressive man in the stairway. When they arrived the man attacked one of them and stabbed him with a knife several times.
