Lotte Aluminium Invests HUF 44 Billion in Tatabánya Plant

South Korean industrial manufacturing company Lotte Aluminium is investing 44 billion forints (EUR 130.5m) in establishing an aluminium foil plant in Tatabánya, in north-west Hungary, Levente Magyar, the foreign ministry state secretary, told a press conference in Budapest on Monday.

Located on a 60,000sqm plot, the plant will provide materials for manufacturing electronic vehicle batteries, the state secretary said.

South Korean Investors Extremely Interested in Hungary

Lotte Aluminium Hungary executive manager Hyun-Cheol Cho said annual production is expected to be around 18,000 tonnes of aluminium foils.
