Latin Pop Star Ricky Martin Returns to Hungary in September
Grammy Award winner Puerto Rican pop star Ricky Martin is returning to Hungary and will perform at the Papp László Arena on 4 September 2018, organizers have announced.
The singer, who gained international recognition with his hits Livin’ la Vida Loca, La Mordidita, She Bangs and the 1998 World Cup’s official song, La Copa de la Vida, first appeared in commercials when he was only 9-years-old. From the age of twelve, he started to sing in the boy band Menudo.
His first solo album, titled simply Ricky Martin, was released in 1991. Since then, he has sold more than 70 million albums worldwide, dozens of certified platinum hits, and several Grammy, Latin Grammy and American Music Awards.
His latest album was released this February; its hit track, Fiebre, has, as of this writing, been viewed by over 78 million people on YouTube alone. You can listen to the song below:
