Budapest Displays Vienna Flag with Black Ribbon in Honour of Terror Attack Victims

Budapest’s City Hall has displayed the flag of Vienna marked with a black ribbon in a show of solidarity with the Austrian capital after a gunman killed four people in a rampage there on Monday night, Budapest Mayor Gergely Karácsony said on Facebook.

“Our twin city Vienna was the victim of a cowardly and nefarious attack yesterday evening,” Karácsony said. He said he and his Warsaw, Bratislava and Prague counterparts had expressed their condolences to Vienna Mayor Michael Ludwig.
