MPs of opposition Jobbik have requested the public release of the details regarding national energy company MVM’s recent purchase of a majority stake in the Mátra Erőmű (Mátra Power Plant), the country’s second-largest power plant.

MP Róbert Dudás told a press conference on Tuesday that his party wants to know the purchase price and other conditions of the transaction. They want to know how the current owner and MVM would share responsibilities in the plant’s renovation, he said, adding that Jobbik wants access to all documents.
