Hungary’s most expensive second-hand car has gone on sale carrying a staggering HUF 1 500 000 000 (USD 5.3m) price tag.
According to an advertisement posted on the second-hand car website hasznaltauto.hu, the 2014 Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse has 491 kilometres on the clock and a performance of 1201 horsepowers (883 kW).
Boasting a top speed of above 400 kilometres an hour, the Bugatti Veyron supercar is one of the fastest and most powerful road-licenced vehicles of our age. It is the first mass-produced model with performance exceeding 1000 horsepowers and a top speed above 400 km/h. Designed by Volkswagen’s Hartmut Warkuß, it gets its name from Frenchman Pierre Veyron, who won the 24-hour LeMans race driving a Bugatti in 1939. Only seventy examples of the model are produced each year.
The manufacturer’s recommended retail price for the Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport Vitesse starts from €2 032 000.
