According to the Turkish press, the Hungarian Defense Forces will buy a Turkish Ejder Yalçın 4×4 Armoured Combat Vehicle, Népszava reports.
The articles do not disclose the exact date, the quantity, or the value of the purchase but reveal that the vehicles in question are armored SUVs manufactured by Nurol Makina, which are tactical four-wheeled armored vehicles, weighing 14 tons and can be deployed both in rural and urban areas. There are several versions, and the vehicles can be configured to be used in a variety of roles, equipping it with air defense systems, tactical missile carriage, or a launch system, but they can also be used as border surveillance and security vehicles.

With this transaction, Hungary would be the first EU member and the sixth country outside Turkey to buy a multi-purpose armored SUV manufactured by Nurol Makina, the article points out.
The Turkish press has already reported on several occasions that the Hungarian government would buy Ejder Yalçın -the armored vehicle was even unveiled at the National Defense Day in Budaörs on May 21st, alongside the Yörük 4×4, also manufactured by Nurol Makina.
Prime Minister Viktor Orbán has talked about closer military cooperation with Turkey. Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan will visit Budapest again in November, and the vehicle purchase may be announced by then.
