Hungary Public Prosecutor, EIB Sign Pact

Hungary Today 2018.04.19.

Hungary’s public prosecution service and the European Investment Bank have signed a cooperation agreement to promote the exchange of information between the two organisations with a view to preventing occurrences of fraud, corruption, collusion, money laundering and the financing of terrorism, the prosecutor’s office said.

According to its statement, the pact signed in Budapest will ensure that information relevant to their investigations will be shared in these areas and the organisations will support each other’s work.

They will also help each other in technical matters, depending on the resources available to them, including the sharing of best practices and any technical information necessary for effective cooperation, the statement added.
