The time has finally come to reveal the best pizzas of 2021 in Europe, which include two Hungarian pizzerias, Kemencés and Digó Nápolyi Pizza.
Big 7 Travel has shared a list, the making of which everyone would happily participate in. With the help of their audience and editors, they ranked the fifty tastiest pizzas in Europe. Two pizzerias in the Hungarian capital were selected among the places preparing the best of this Italian culinary goodness with a crispy crust and heavenly toppings. Of course, no-one can beat the birthplace of pizza, Naples, where a place called L’Antica Pizzeria da Michele reigns at the top of the list.
One of the Hungarian pizzerias, Kemencés, came in 46th with comments complimenting the thorough preparation and crispy crust of their pizzas. The editors especially recommend their spicy Picante Pizza. Those who want to taste their delicious pies can do so in three locations across Budapest, in the 15th, 16th, and 18th districts.
We can spot another familiar place among the best ten pizzas on the continent, too. Digó Nápolyi Pizza in Budapest occupies the eighth place on the list, with the editors praising the rich flavors, and not too chewy and not too crispy, thin crusts of their pizzas, along with the excellent service. They operate two pizzerias in Budapest, one in Kazinczy Street in the 7th district, and another in Erzsébet Square. Moreover, in collaboration with other restaurants, they will run a pop-up place in Szigliget, in the framework of the ‘Várudvar’ food court project.
It is a marvelous result for both pizzerias in Budapest to have made it on the list of the fifty most extraordinary pizzas on the continent, and this success will certainly attract many people to their restaurants.
