Investment volume in Hungary rose by an annual 14.8 percent in the third quarter, the Central Statistical Office (KSH) said on Thursday.
In absolute terms, investments came to 2,684.4 billion forints (EUR 7.98bn) during the period.
Construction investments increased by 15.8 percent, reaching 1,601.6 billion forints. Machinery investments climbed 13.6 percent and stood at 1,062.9 billion forints.
Manufacturing sector investments jumped 28.6 percent, reaching 740.6 billion forints. Investments in the logistics sector were up 17.1 percent at 496.8 billion forints. Real estate investments increased by 22.6 percent to reach 452.3 billion forints.
Private sector investments were up 28.7 percent at 1,606.5 billion forints. Public sector investments edged up 0.2 of a percent to 385.7 billion forints.
