Hungary’s Pannon University in Veszprém and the Energy and Resources Institute of India have concluded a three-year natural water purification project, the university said on Wednesday.
They have developed a technology allowing the purification of industrial waste water from bioactive anti-biotics, hormones, drug residues and phenol derivatives, it said. The project was implemented between July 1, 2016 and June 30 this year under a Hungary-India research and development cooperation scheme.
It was supported by Hungary’s National Research, Development and Innovation Office with a 28.7 million forint (EUR 88,000) grant.
