Hungary Guest Nights Fall 90% in January

The number of guest nights spent in Hungarian commercial accommodations fell by an annual 89.8 percent to 174,000 in January as pandemic restrictions weighed, data released by the Central Statistical Office (KSH) on Thursday show.

The number of guest nights spent by domestic tourists dropped by 85.5 percent to 115,000, while the number spent by foreign visitors declined by 93.5 percent to 59,000.
