There were rarely-seen outbursts of joy across the Hungarian capital and the whole country yesterday evening as the country’s national football team qualified for the 2016 European Championships for the first time since 1972 by beating Norway with an aggregate score of 3-1 and 2-1 on the night.
The country’s appearance in Paris next year will also mark the first time Hungary will play at a major international football event in thirty years. Watch how players and the crowd celebrated at Budapest’s Groupama Arena immediately after the match was called off!
