Currently Infected Population Would Make for one of the 50 Largest Towns in Hungary

Combined, those currently infected with coronavirus in Hungary would make up one of the 50 largest towns in the country. If we put all cases to date together, they would make the top 30.

There are currently 23,961 confirmed active coronavirus cases in Hungary. According to the latest 2019 estimation of city populations, the currently infected populace would make for the 49th largest town in Hungary, ahead of Gyál, with a population of 23,893.

To date, there have been 34,046 confirmed cases altogether. Combined, they would make up the 27th largest town in the country, ahead of places like Szekszárd, Gödöllő, Ózd, Vác, Salgótarján, and Mosonmagyaróvár.
