The Hungarian Armed Forces has recruited its 10,000th volunteer reservist.

Addressing a festive army personnel meeting at a Budapest base on Wednesday, Defence Ministry State Secretary Szilárd Németh praised the military’s reservist recruitment push as “an incredible success story”, arguing that in 2010 Hungary had only 17 reservists.
