Hungarian Reformed Church Calls for Easter to Be Celebrated Online

The Hungarian Reformed Church has asked its communities to hold Easter services “through digital means as far as possible” with regard to the coronavirus situation and in view of government-initiated restrictions.

The Reformed synod said in a statement that the church would maintain its current practice of cancelling “all meetings or events involving personal attendance.”

Major services on Good Friday and on Easter Sunday will be broadcast on public television, the statement said.
