Hungarian midfielder Ádám Gyurcsó scored a sensational direct free kick goal in the last round of the Polish first division. Gyurcsó’s club Pogoń Szczecin’s hosted Cracovia Kraków yesterday and the home team took the lead in the 8th minute thanks to the Hungarian superb free kick. The game ended in a 2-2 draw.
Meanwhile Polish title-contender Legia Warszawa defeated sixth-placed Lech Poznań away from home thanks to a brace from Hungarian international forward Nemanja Nikolics. The in-form Serbian-born striker is the top scorer in Poland’s Ekstraklasa with 25 league goals so far in the season.
