The aircraft transporting the speaker of the Hungarian Parliament had to make an emergency stop in Warsaw on Tuesday. According to press information, László Kövér collapsed on the plane so the flight crew decided to land. The parliament’s press chief, Zoltán Szilágyi, later reported that Kövér has since arrived in Budapest and he was feeling well.
According to Slovak press reports, László Kövér was transported to a hospital in Warsaw by helicopter where he was examined. Andrej Danko, the Speaker of the Slovak Parliament was also on board and had been in Kazakhstan along with the Hungarian politician.

A reporter for noviny.sk also traveled on the private plane and reported that they had interrupted their journey in Poland prematurely. According to her, Kövér got sick on the plane so the crew decided to interrupt the flight.
Citing Slovak government sources, Bumm.sk writes that László Kövér collapsed on the plane.
Later in an announcement, parliament’s press chief Zoltán Szilágyi told MTI:
As a precaution, due to a temporary health problem of László Kövér, the Slovak government aircraft on which the Slovak and Hungarian delegations traveled home from Kazakhstan, interrupted their journey on Tuesday night in Warsaw. The House Speaker is feeling well and since has arrived in Budapest.”
On Tuesday, László Kövér attended the fourth Eurasian summit meeting of house speakers in Nur-Sultan. He met Nurlan Nigmatulin, chairman of the Mazhilis (lower house) of the Kazakh Parliament and had a bilateral talk with Vyacheslav Volodin, chairman of the Russian State Duma.
