World-class Hungarian swimmers Katinka Hosszú and Kristóf Milák won two gold medals each at the last stage of the Mare Nostrum series in Barcelona.
After winning the women’s 200-meter medley on Saturday, Hosszú triumphed in the 400-meter medley as well, with a time of 4:40.34. The world-champion swimmer also won multiple medals in the first two stages of the series, in Monte Carlo and Canet-en-Roussillon.
In addition to finishing first in the men’s 100-meter butterfly, Kristóf Milák also claimed victory in the 100-meter freestyle. While the world record-holder Milák did not compete in his usual event, the 200-meter butterfly, Bencze Biczó claimed the bronze medal.
