Govt to Call Another Tender for Workers Hostel Subsidies

A tender for 5 billion forints (EUR 14m) in support to set up workers hostels will be called on November 2, the Innovation and Technology Ministry said on Saturday.

The tender is the fifth such one. In the earlier tenders, 39 local councils and companies won a combined 12.4 billion forints in support to set up workers hostels with some 5,000 beds, contributing to improved labour mobility.

Subsidies in the latest tender can be used to build or renovate workers hostels with between 80 and 200 beds. Applications are being accepted until the end of March 2021.
