This year will be the 5th time that the Gourmet Festival will be organized in Budapest. The festival started almost 10 years ago but since 2012 it has been renewed and become seriously tastier.
At the Festival, you can meet the top names of -not only Hungarian- gastro life and taste your best dishes ever. At the “gastro-stage”, you can watch and learn good practices and useful cooking technics from the acting chefs. You can take part in workshops and of course you can taste the delicious products also.
The festival is going to take place in the Hungarian capital between the 18th and 21th of May 2017 with over 100 exhibitors, including the best restaurants from Budapest and the countryside, meaning that it will be a great opportunity to experience and enjoy the cream of the Hungarian traditional and the modern cuisine. The event is going to be hosted in the Millenáris Park in Buda, a highly palatable place to have a seat and enjoy the unique dishes.
This year mangalica – the indigenous local pig – specialties and strawberry will be in the focus. Novelty that more children programs await families visiting the festival in 2017.
The Gourmet Festival is organized by Sziget Inc., the company behind the iconic Budapest summer music festival. Don’t hesitate to be an epicure and grab your spoon if you are close to Hungary.
