The next Formula One race, the Hungarian Grand Prix, is to be held between 24-26 July in Mogyoród, 26 kilometres from Budapest. The Hungaroring has become classical race track over the past years, since it was built almost three decades ago as a rarity, the first one beyond the Iron Curtain, and now it is still special as the third behind Monte-Carlo and Monza to have continuously featured in the race calendar. In 2014 Red Bull’s Daniel Ricciardo won the thrilling Hungaroring race as he made two late overtaking moves on Lewis Hamilton and Fernando Alonso to claim the second victory of his Formula 1 career in a dramatic Hungarian Grand Prix.
