US-based 3D printer manufacturer Formlabs is investing 2 billion forints to set up a research centre in Budapest, Péter Szijjártó, the minister of foreign affairs and trade, said on Thursday.
The government is providing a 171 million forint grant for the three-year investment project that will create 100 workplaces, the minister said at a press conference.
Szijjártó noted that the government’s modified incentive system favours technology-intensive investments.
