Enikő Mihalik, a famous Hungarian supermodel known for her work with Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin’s Dutch photography team, recently married Dávid Korányi, chief advisor of city diplomacy for Budapest mayor Gergely Karácsony.
Mihalik told women’s magazine Nők Lapja that she met Korányi at a party last year, and that they are already awaiting their first child.
Rumor spread quickly that Karácsony was the one who officiated the marriage of his colleague and the Hungarian supermodel, however the mayor later disproved this.
In a Facebook post, Karácsony said that he was present at their wedding, and that while he could not legally officiate them, he was honored to say a congratulatory speech.
