Following the footsteps of the SZIGET, VOLT and BALATON SOUND, the summer festival of Hungarian university and college students has released its own official 2015 after-movie as well. First organised in 1976, EFOTT, which had its beginnings as a “touristic meeting” of higher-education students, is now one of Hungary’s oldest and largest festivals, attracting tens of thousands of revellers each year.
Although it advertises itself as “Hungary’s biggest student party”, it’s actually far more than that, with organisers dedicating special attention to the fields of culture and sport over the previous years. This objective has brought about a continuous expansion of daytime programmes, not only in terms of their attendance but also standards. The festival’s primary aim is to connect Hungary with the young crowd through the lens of a new location each year, in 2015 it was the lakeside resort of Velence 50km Southwest of Budapest.
